This is the story of an unwanted puppy named Micah, and how he found his way into a loving home. At the beginning of the book Micah Goes Home, there are twelve unwanted and unloved pets living at the Hopeless Animal Sanctuary. There are dogs, cats, one rabbit, and one guinea pig. They are all happy pets. That is, except for Micah the bulldog puppy. Micah is very unhappy with his situation. Micah feels hopeless. How did he get into this predicament? Just like many unwanted pets, he was given up and forgotten by his owners. But wait, there is a way out! Micah comes to find hope for his future by talking to an inspiring cockroach named Horracio. Horracio explains to Micah that Jesus is our King and all who trust in Him will be saved. Micah is eventually adopted and taken to his forever home. This story is one of inspiration, hope, and courage. The story cites Biblical scripture and uses this scripture to explain who, and where, our hope for a new life comes from.
